Locket Bracelet is HERE~!

Why beat around the bush when I can show you lovelies the AMAZING locket bracelet that I received today!

iPhone photo because both babies are asleep - purple ribbon, A charm, pink crystal heart and my two girls.
Can I just say right now how much I LOVE this locket? I feel like this will be my 'static' locket and I will keep my necklace for rotating out themes, etc. The locket bracelet just works so well this way! I've seen a lot of people put small words, names, etc in them! They're GREAT for the letters!

The locket bracelet is currently out of stock on the website, but I have some available to be ordered directly! Order now because supplies are limited!

Black Friday - South Hill Designs STYLE~!

If you're like me (and by that I mean an exhausted mother of two under two who wants nothing more than one day of rest and relaxation), you won't be braving the crowds on Black Friday. While the weather here in Florida will more than likely be fairly mild for those who do decide to camp out in front of their local electronics store or big-box retailer for a week or more to get 50% off their favorite laptop or game system, it's still not something I would be willing to brave at this point in my life.

More and more, Holiday shopping is moving to the online world. My mother has decided to jump on board the "online shopping" movement for the holidays and is so very happy she did.

Still have mom, grandma, sister, daughter, best friend, etc to shop for? South Hill Designs is here to serve your Black Friday Shopping needs!

Friday only, you can purchase five holiday charms for 60% off! $9.95 for the Christmas Tree, Snowman, Present, Candy Cane and Candy! That's less than the price of just two! Throw in a locket for all of those special ladies in your life and a few charms and you've got a personal and unique gift ready for Christmas!

And did I mention they come in the cutest little boxes? All ready and waiting to be wrapped or just given a cute little bow!

add in our exclusive diamond enamel locket for a super classy look this holiday season!
Bookmark today for easy access Friday morning!

Better yet, why not join my team? It's not too late to get in on the Holiday sales madness! Why not pay for your holiday shopping this year with my team? Click the "Join!" link on the menu to learn more!

I hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving coming up and be safe - hubby has to work that day so no choking on the wishbone! ;)

Happy Birthday South Hill Designs!

Miss me? It's been a hectic 3 months since Miss Abby's arrival. I'm happy to announce that she is perfectly happy and a little porker that has finally decided to grace Mama and Daddy with sleeping through the night this week! Love it!

Now that things have settled down, I'm focusing more on my business! What a better way to kick it in to high gear than with a BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

Yes, one year ago today South Hill Designs launched and has now grown to be one of the quickest growing MLM businesses out there! I'm so happy to be a part of this great company and to have a great team working with me!

South Hill has launched their new Genuine Swarovski Crystal earrings with matching droplets! There are SO many new products that have launched since the National Conference in September that I can't even show you all of them in this post without it being massive! There are new diamond shaped lockets, new screens, new droplets, wrap bracelets, a TON of new charms in all three finishes and even a special collaboration with the Make-a-Wish foundation with a special coin, screen and charms! Not to mention the great selection of holiday themed charms that have released!

And to make it all even better SHD has announced a new locket bracelet that will be released in November! I can't wait to order mine!!!!

So many new, wonderful products from our SHD family!
SHD has asked all of its artists to celebrate their first birthday in our own way! Since I'll be attending a wedding this weekend and therefore unable to host a birthday social I will be offering all of my customers a FREE present droplet with any order of $30 or more placed with me or on my site from now until Sunday night at midnight!

And to add to the fun, I've decided to offer a special incentive to anyone who joins my team this weekend with the $199 kit - a free medium locket of your choice! Get your business going and get a free locket along with it? Who wouldn't want that? Celebrate in style!

Just to give you a little motivation:

Average paychecks for Team Builder and above with SHD! What are YOU waiting for?!
Team Storm is waiting for YOU to control your own destiny with a business that you will love and will love you right back! ;)

So, how are YOU celebrating South Hill Designs' 1st Birthday?!

Locket: Special Delivery!

This is probably my last post before I'm scheduled to deliver my daughter on Wednesday, so I wanted to post the locket I made to wear for her arrival!

Large Silver w/crystals, gold SHD flower, birthstone girls in July & December, pink carriage, mom heart, crystal flower, clear crystal droplet and present droplet on the pearl layering chain.
Somehow in making the 4th of July locket and putting my 'personal' charms aside in my charm case, I lost my purple ribbon. :( While it's listed as being for pancreatic cancer on our website, purple is also used for March of Dimes. I'm going to have to order another one when I place my next order. :( It must have slipped out and fallen on the floor when I was showing someone the screen I had in with it and I didn't notice until yesterday. SAD!!!! My room has been cleaned since then, so even searching I didn't think I had a chance of finding it.

Ah, well...

When I return to my blog, I'm going to be posting a lot of tips and tricks to get your business BOOMING right from the start! I'll also be attending my first event (hopefully) in August and will have plenty of pictures and a report for that. My city is doing something new where they are holding a sidewalk sale once a month along our downtown! I was signed up (and so excited for) the June one when I ended up in the hospital the weekend prior, and now the next one is next weekend and there is NO way I'll make it. August will give me time to get acclimated to being a mommy to two and working full time AND making my business awesome, though! ;)

If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me an email! While I may not post for a week or so, I will definitely be checking in from time to time!

Be charming, all!

Locket: Fourth of July

Still stuck here in the hospital for another week. SO, I decided since I can't partake in fireworks and BBQ for this 4th of July, I'll show my spirit with a locket!

I'll be wearing this tomorrow and probably through the weekend. :)

Large Silver w/Crystals, anchor, American Flag, Eagle, Sunglasses & Red, White & Blue Swarovski crystals on the pearl layering chain with the flip flop droplet. :)
I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday and please be safe! :)

Lockets - Large Gold w/Crystals & Midnight!!!!

Finally got my hands on these today and I just couldn't help but make some designs with them!

First up: Large Gold Locket w/Crystals

Large Gold w/Crystals, Gold Gear, Gold-themed charms
I'm not usually a 'gold' girl but I do absolutely love this! Too bad my gold froggy isn't here yet. :(

Now, for the Midnight Locket!!!

Large Midnight Locket, Crystal Droplet and Faith/Vintage themed charms
I think the locket my nurse designed has me in a 'monochrome' mood right now because despite my normal leanings towards pops of color and PINK, I'm LOVING on this locket. I may even wear it tomorrow instead of my normal....>.>;;

Speaking of MY locket - my pearl layering chain came today and fdjklagjkdlaf it's so nice! I can't wait to wear it with something other than scrubby hospital clothes and PJ's! LOL! Now I have my silver rolo with ring station and the pearl to switch between when I want different looks (and, of course, the original chain which is still awesome if I do say so myself!)

Tomorrow is my U/S to determine my daughter's size prior to my induction the next week so I don't know what time I'll have to make more lockets, depending on that.

Let's start July off with a bang, though! You can order any time from the Shop button at the top of the page and if you're interested in joining you can use the Join button at the top as well! Summer is in full swing and it's a great time to build a gorgeous locket or start a crazy awesome business! I'm always available by email or message if you ever have questions!

Be charming~

New Locket Pic!

I just had to post this because I absolutely adore how this locket turned out. One of my nurses built this locket and I'm delivering it to her tomorrow. Normally I'm one for pops of color but I really like how simple and elegant this one is in the monochrome.

Silver locket, silver South Hill Flower, Silver C&E, vanilla and titanium pearls.
She designed this locket with her children's initials, but I think this would be a great theme to do for a wedding as well with the wedding ring and perhaps a little tweaking. :)

The possibilities really are endless with South Hill Designs! Click the "Shop" button above to build your story today!

June Updates - New Charms, New Lockets and New Chains!

June is shaping up to be a great month for South Hill Designs! While I'd planned to have my launch party today, I've been knocked down by an annoying little virus that's doing little more than make me feel like poo and keeping me from being productive. Which sucks, but these things happen. Especially when you're 7 months pregnant!

On top of rescheduling my launch party for next weekend, I will also have a vendor booth set up at the Downtown Largo Merchant's Sidewalk Sale on June 15th from 9-2! If you're in the area, I'd love for you to stop by and see what South Hill Designs is all about!

So, onto the news! SHD has released not only new charms at the end of last month, they've also replaced three of their chains with US manufacturers for better quality and quicker production turn-around! AND, they've announced a new locket! We've also retired the large gold locket, but seeing as this is the new locket:

Large Gold locket with Crystals!
it would be super easy to simply turn it around and wear it showing the other side to keep that clean gold look. The Large Gold locket is still available for a limited time, until stock is depleted, so if you're dead-set on it, order today!

The new charms are also 'gold' themed and amazing!

Gold charms, redesigned charms and NEW droplets!

I'm not usually a huge fan of gold things (I prefer the look of silver and white gold), but I'm really in love with a lot of these. Especially the mustache ;)

Gold, Rose Gold & Silver faceted bead chains!
The new chains are also absolutely stunning! Having a US manufacturer for this chain now means that we have SILVER as well as the gold and rose gold! These are 32" and great for anyone who wants a delicate look while wearing their locket low! My mom's medium gold locket is on a gold faceted bead chain and she loves it.

Finally, announced today we have the June Hostess Specials!!!!!

All of the normal social rewards along with 6 new charms!!!!!
I've always said SHD has the best rewards for their hostesses (most companies only provide 1/2 priced items and no product credit, at SHD you get BOTH!), and these monthly rewards are just icing on the cake. So what are you waiting for? A social can be held completely online as well, so book today!!!

And that's what I leave you with for today. Next post will be an example of my set-up for Socials and Events so you can see just how AWESOME it looks. ;) But for now I'm going to go relax with my mini-me and try to feel better!

Be Charming, all~

Origami Owl vs South Hill Designs: Why I Went With SHD

Unlike most of you, I have been living under a rock for the past year or so because I only recently became aware of the phenomenon that is known as floating lockets. I hadn't seen any, at least that I noticed; no friends were holding parties; no one I knew sold them. I may have heard the name "Origami Owl" being thrown around a time or two, but I never really paused to think about it or look anything up.

That was until a coworker asked if I knew anything about Origami Owl. A friend of hers was having a party and while I knew I couldn't attend, I was ready to submit an order that day. But wait, I thought. If no one around me has really heard of this yet, wouldn't it be a good idea to get in and start selling? I've done direct sales several times, though my last experience had left me a bit weary. I knew that something like this, though, I could do. I could wear my locket proudly and tell everyone I knew just how much I adored selling lockets!

Fast forward a few days and I finally had time to sit down and join Origami Owl! But wait...I needed a number from a current designer or I'd be added to a wait list? But I didn't know any! So off to Google I went, searching for a designer I could sign under. I found one, sent off a quick email letting her know I was joining with her # (she encouraged it on her blog, of course), and off to sign up I went!

But wait... I was still on a wait list? What is this tomfoolery?! I was assured the O2 staff added new designers every week and my wait would be nothing at all! A week, two maybe. I could start booking parties, I could order through my upline, but I had no real backing from corporate yet - I was just a Designer-in-Waiting.

I was added to two FB groups, my upline's and also a 'waiting room' group. There were so many of us, eager to join and start selling this wonderful product! But wait, we couldn't use the O2 name or likeness for anything - we weren't yet designers. We were assured that shipping issues were being handled, that the 'Nest' was quickly working through waitlisted designers to get us on-boarded. We were linked a nifty little tool to check our place in line!

I joined the waitlist on April 28th. Today, May 26th my 'place in line' is this:
Yes, that does say 15,009.
I wish I'd thought to take a screengrab of that first day. That number, it's gone down oh.... perhaps 100 spots in a month. 100.

The waitlist is apparently designed to help keep 'The Nest' from being swamped with new kits to go out. Understandable...I suppose, but highly frustrating.

A few days after I became a 'DIW', a lovely lady by the name of Jennifer contacted me. A former nail tech herself, we shared an interest in not only nails, but sharing our story with a locket. And thus, I was introduced to South Hill Designs.

Believe me when I say I did my research prior to joining. A company that has the same product? This can't be legal, can it? Let me tell you - O2 wasn't the first to the 'floating locket' market and they definitely won't be the last. Sure, there's a cute story behind them about a girl who wanted her first car. South Hill Designs intrigued me - there was no waitlist, customer and artist reviews were higher, there were no 'shipping strikes' in China to deal with. South Hill Designs is backed by two experienced CEO's and a corporate team that has already shown me in just a month how wonderful and prompt they are!

And the best part? South Hill Designs lets you get started for just $59! You don't have to buy a social kit to become an artist (though I highly recommend it if possible - the retail value of the products you receive is well worth it and you WILL have people wanting to buy lockets right from around your own neck!)!

Though I've only been an Artist for a month, South Hill Designs has changed my life in such a positive way. I'm making new friends, finding new ways to take time for ME from my hectic life as a full-time mommy AND full-time office worker. Best part, though? I'm making money! Can't beat getting to wear gorgeous lockets that everyone will ask you about (I do mean everyone) and getting paid to do so!

On top of their 5-star customer service, South Hill Designs also has a better compensation plan for their Artists and AMAZING Hostess rewards. Having hosted other DS parties before for friends, I can tell you that the rewards are sometimes misleading and also disappointing. But not with South Hill Designs! Not only does the company pay out the Hostess rewards, it rewards them in two ways: credit towards FREE jewelry and half-price items depending on sales volume! For an example of a basic social, check out my entry here.

South Hill Designs is an amazing company to be a part of and I'd love for you to join me! You can email me for more information any time at south.hill.andii@gmail.com or simply jump right on my website and join today! No waiting, prompt shipping and the support of a great company and many other Artists! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! :)

UPDATE: It's been six months since I joined SHD and I'm still insanely happy with my decision. I am part of a company that has not only an amazing support network and corporate staff, I've been able to do great things with it! When I wrote this, I was still pregnant with my second daughter. Since then, I had my water break at 29 weeks and was admitted to a hospital for six weeks of bed rest. Unable to work my conventional job and therefore only bringing home 66% of my paycheck, I was able to build my business from my hospital bed. I sold lockets to my nurses and doctors, recruited other ladies in my same position and had a great time doing it. It was something to keep me distracted and also gave me an opportunity to keep making money while on bed rest!

Luckily, things worked out and my daughter was born at 35 weeks and was absolutely healthy. Now a mom to two beautiful little girls, I'm working toward making SHD my only job (the only reason I stay at my current job is because I love what I do and I love the people I work with).

Since joining, SHD has had its national conference where they announced the launch of an amazing array of new products, including a locket bracelet. SHD is constantly adding new charms and bringing new products to our catalogs. Our products are upscale quality without the upscale price!
